These Conditions of Use apply to the public websites of Light Science Engineering Systems. They continue the documented Conditions of Use lineage established on EvoLIC.com, whose earliest currently documented archived conditions page is dated November 14, 2004.

Use of the Sites

These sites are provided for learning, documentation, historical preservation, creative experience, engineering knowledge, and community understanding. Use them lawfully and in a manner that does not interfere with the sites, their content, or other visitors.

Knowledge and Engineering Information

Material published through Light Science Engineering Systems documents experience, research, engineering practice, historical reconstruction, and evolving understanding. It is informational and should be evaluated for the specific conditions in which it may be applied. Nothing on these sites replaces project-specific professional, safety, legal, financial, or regulated advice where such advice is required.

Historical and Source Artifacts

Historical archives may preserve names, trademarks, photographs, websites, documents, products, or other material created or owned by third parties. Preservation does not imply present ownership, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation. Source provenance and evidence confidence should remain part of the record whenever available.

Ownership and Permitted Use

Original Light Science Engineering Systems text, design, organization, research, and other original material are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Visitors may read, reference, and share links for personal, educational, and informational purposes. Republishing, selling, misrepresenting authorship, removing attribution, or using protected material in a misleading manner is not permitted without authorization.

Community Contributions

Where a site permits questions, discussion, submissions, or other participation, contributions should be lawful, respectful, relevant, and made with the right to share them. Material may be moderated or removed when necessary to protect the community, the historical record, or operation of the service.

Accuracy and Continuing Understanding

The Journey is intentionally capable of evolving as new evidence and understanding become available. Historical reconstructions distinguish documented evidence, firsthand knowledge, context, inference, and unknowns where practical. Corrections improve the current record without requiring that earlier understanding be silently erased.

These Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes

These Conditions may evolve with the Light Science Engineering Systems platform. The effective date identifies the current public version. Material changes should be documented rather than silently obscured.

Historical Lineage

The 2026 Conditions are a modern successor to the documented EvoLIC Conditions of Use. The earliest currently documented archived page is the November 14, 2004 Wayback snapshot. The historical page remains a source reference and is not rewritten as though it were created in 2026.
